Three: Wholeness

The Moon is the first trinity:

crescent, full and dark.

She dances Oneness,

Cycle of Changes.

The Moon is the round frame drum

that sets the throbbing tempo

for womben in their sacred dance,

their crooning.

Womban time is born

crowning from that womb:

weaving of light and dark,

fertilizing the world, promising hope.

Ships that pass in the night,

three phases of the moon

yearn for each other but do not touch.

Almost touching, sisters,

a changing round of 'loving couples,'

together they weave and spell

the circle unbroken.

The Moon is mirror

of the Triple Goddess,

broken pieces fluid, re-uniting,

mercurial,

marred, imperfect excellence,

visionary window,

conscious eye of the One.

Trinity is both One and She,

self-renewing source of creation,

ever-changing Source of Renewal,

female progenitor, Mother of All.

Life/death/rebirth; earth/air/water/

past/future/sacred now,

honoring here and now,

breathing point of power

cradled by the Unknowable:

infinite, eternal, awesome

cornucopia of blessing,

deserving thanks.

Ever-flowing Trinity,

play us in Your Symphony!

In every moment, Goddess help us

be in harmony.

Your energy is living tree,

dynamic symmetry, free from duality,

fertile triangle of three.

Help us be wise, to see

the spiral future

spilling forth in Sanity

from Your cornucopia thighs!

Goddess as Three

envisions Wholeness, cycle and process,

dynamo of change, transformation:

creating, destroying, renewing.

Goddess as Three is misunderstood,

Her Dark Moon Mystery feared, denied.

Undaunted, the Cauldron Crone

tends Her burning task:

turning the cycle through darkness,

always toward new light, rebirth, and hope.

She is Trinity, both One and Three,

Reality of Change,

found at the triple crossing, joining,

of infinities within,

braided creative, self-renewing,

eternal,

inside our skin,

ready to begin again.

Begin again; begin again; begin again; begin again.

Love, begin again; begin again.

There's no beginning and no ending,

only this journey winding, wending;

only this passion, breaking, mending.

Love, begin again; begin again!
