Phases

Ember of Herself,

ambling through memory,

Crescent Moon cherishes

amniotic light and gestate dark.

She clasps each close,

never the two together.

Ambidextrous, ambient, emergent,

She swings, rocking

in the cradle of Herself,

In Her own boat,

in Her own womb-sea,

bipolar, mammary, amorous,

embraced

by uterine dark and utter light.

Silent and hidden

the Mother-face of death

beckons

with crescent arms of re-birthing: 

Crystal Face of Mystery.
