Community

Being whumban,

we are homes of praise for Her:

heads, hearts, imaginations,

places where hope can live.

Gratitude centers us:

breath, heartbeats, footsteps, days,

rhythms for singing

‘round a common hearth,

dancing on a shared earth.

Hands link a circle:

community of thanks

for all Her gifts,

for all Her challenges.

She holds our hands,

simply, each to each.

She holds the universe

safe in Her Womb of Mystery.
