Catch of the Day

Prose is an ocean,

poetry a net

to catch the fish of memory

shining wet.

…knots and spaces in the right places,

worth all the angling and wrangling,

tangling and untangling...

In the end a good poem

is an honest endeavor:

to catch a fish and take it home

and keep it fresh forever.
