Brigit

I Am Brigit, the Irish Saint,

Celtic Great Goddess from the beginning.

I Am the Source!

Bring a torch in the dark night of Imbolc, Candlemas.

Thank Me where pure water wells from the ground.

I Am the well-spring of well-being.

Stand in the wind and snow, and know that spring

stirs deep in the fiery heart of earth.

My age-old flame at Kildare, tended so lovingly,

was extinguished by force, but it burns again!

I Am the eternal light that makes a temple holy.

I Am the hearth that makes a home.

I Am the holy candle, lit by woman.

I Am the spark within that makes you human.

My flame of sexuality is sacred,

renewing the life-force.

No degradation can extinguish My presence.

Millions of women healers and teachers

were tortured and burned in Europe alone.

Dedicate yourself in fierce peace

to their memory.

Reclaim your courage and wisdom

burning deep within you.

My worship is reminder

to fan the flame of Me,

with mercy and love,

with deepest respect.

Hestia, Vesta, Brigit, Bryde,

I cannot be depicted as woman.

Holy Ghost, I Am a flame!

Your name is My name.

Sing your name with creativity,

and you honor Me!
